No Jokers Black Jack is developed and operated by L'Extase Ltd, Company No. 12431763, a company registered in England and Wales.

L'Extase Ltd is the data controller responsible for your personal data collected through this website, the No Jokers Black Jack mobile application, and associated services.

Privacy contact: privacy@nojokers.co.uk
General support: support@nojokers.co.uk

This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal data, and describes the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Data We Collect and Why

2.1 Waitlist and marketing email sign-up

When you submit your email address on this website to join our launch waitlist or Season One updates list, we collect your email address. We process this data on the lawful basis of consent. You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or by contacting privacy@nojokers.co.uk. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

2.2 Account registration

When you create a No Jokers Black Jack account, we collect the information you provide during registration (such as your email address, username, and password). We process account data on the basis of contract — it is necessary to provide you with the service. We may also process limited account data on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating, maintaining, and improving the platform.

2.3 Competitive and ranking data

We collect data about your in-game activity, ranked match performance, leaderboard standings, and competitive history. This is necessary for us to provide and operate the seasonal competition features of the game, and is processed on the basis of contract and our legitimate interests in running a fair competitive environment.

2.4 Prize verification data

If you qualify as a prize winner in a seasonal competition, we will collect identity and age verification data, including a copy of a government-issued identity document and payment information, in order to verify your eligibility and process prize payment. This is processed on the basis of legal obligation (age verification) and contract (fulfilling the prize award). Prize verification data is retained only for as long as is necessary to process the prize and meet applicable legal retention obligations.

2.5 Technical and usage data

We may collect standard technical data including device identifiers, IP addresses, operating system version, app version, crash logs, and usage analytics. This data is collected on the basis of our legitimate interests in diagnosing faults, improving performance, and securing the service.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the personal data we collect to:

  • Send you launch updates, Season One announcements, and related communications (where you have given consent);
  • Create and manage your game account;
  • Operate the competitive ranking and seasonal leaderboard systems;
  • Process prize payments and conduct eligibility verification;
  • Detect and prevent fraud, cheating, and abuse;
  • Maintain, secure, and improve the app and website;
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

4. Data Processors and Third Parties

We share data with trusted third-party processors who act on our instructions. Our key processors include:

  • Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) — email marketing and waitlist management. Your email address is transmitted to Brevo to send launch and Season One communications where you have subscribed. Brevo processes data under a data processing agreement.
  • Apple App Store / Apple Inc. — in-app purchases and payment processing on iOS devices are handled by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Google LLC (Google Play) — in-app purchases and payment processing on Android devices are handled by Google under Google's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Analytics providers — we may use analytics tools to understand app performance and usage. Where these tools process personal data, they do so as processors under appropriate agreements.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

  • Waitlist/marketing email: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Account data: Retained for the duration of your account. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Competitive and ranking data: Retained for the duration of your account and for a reasonable period thereafter to maintain the integrity of historical season records.
  • Prize verification data: Retained for the period required to process the prize and comply with applicable financial and legal retention obligations, typically up to seven years.
  • Technical and usage data: Retained for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described, typically up to 24 months.

6. International Transfers

Some of our processors, including Brevo and analytics providers, may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR requirements, such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

7. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure: You may request that we delete your personal data, subject to any overriding legal obligations.
  • Right to restriction: You may request that we restrict the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability: Where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, you may request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object: You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will cease such processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms.
  • Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@nojokers.co.uk. We will respond within one month of receiving a valid request.
